I have been visiting Dr. Poorna Thakkar at Aveley Dental Practice for various issues with my teeth - and I cannot express how pleased I have been with my treatment whilst under her care. I am a typical nervous patient, but Dr. Poorna and the team are always so welcoming, engaging, and reassuring, it instantly helps put my nerves at ease. Dr. Poorna has been wonderful at understanding how other issues with my body may be affecting my teeth, and has helped me with those concerns, and she always practices a light touch when conducting procedures (including x-rays, examinations, anaesthetic, and deep fillings). I truly feel as though I found the perfect dentist, and my family and I will remain under the trustful care of Aveley Dental for a very, very long time! I went to Aveley dentist today. Haven't been to the dentist since before the pandemic. Due to a broken tooth I had to find a new dentist. As I live in the village this dentist was convenient. I'm so pleased that I did. The staff are very friendly and are very good with nervous patient. Didn't push me into picking the dearest price, just gave me my options and left me to pick. They also went out of the way to fit me in around other patient . Thank you Dr Poorna and team for all your help today.

Have not received such amazing care in all my time seeing dentists and hygienists. I've had lots of dental work done over the years and since registering here the dentist were nothing but honest and thorough. They have managed to assess and quickly refer me to a major dental hospital for further interventions. Upon having a review during these interventions the dental team were really pleased with my progress. They have demonstrated compassion, patience, perseverance and education and I'm really happy to be under their care.
