This morning I went to the Dentist , the receptionist was incredibly rude .Who do they think they are .I have been coming to this Dentist for many years, and there were many times that they were abrupt and rude .I suggest that the staff should be put on training courses ,about how to speak to other human beings in a civil manner. Heaton moor Dentist is getting a bad reputation for patient care.,it’s a shame.

Here is my initial message that I wanted to send to the practice support team but that did not go through hence posting that here. It seems that their Support Team contact form is not working. ''Hi I had my dental filling on 15.12.2025 but since then I have progressively worsening pain in my tooth. I initially thought that it was procedure related and would go on its own, however now it has become severely interactable and progressively worsened to the extent that I am unable to carry on my daily activities or sleep properly. Just beware this filling was done prophylactically, I never had pain in this tooth before. I flew out of the UK on 18th and returned 28th, spent all time in pain and still going through this. It is terrible. I paid huge amount of money to get this treatment however this worked other way around. I could a lot of unhappy customers who left negative feedback due to duplicated payments, failed treatment etc which made me even worried. I do not want to leave any bad comments without contacting and you exploring if I get any reasonable response from you. I hope you look into this and provide me with appropriate care without costing me a lot of money again.'' I request the owner to read this and act. Will write another review once I am contacted by the practice and I get some answer.

Very disappointing experience. When I arrived, there was a long queue, and when I reached the desk the receptionist abruptly cut me off and, without even looking up, barked “What name is it?”. She then told me I hadn’t received a form I was supposed to complete and handed it to me to sign. I ended up rushing through it just to get away from the unpleasant interaction. Not a great way to start my first appointment with them. After my treatment, I was informed that the price I had been quoted when I booked less than 3 weeks previously had increased by 10%. I hadn’t been notified of any price change, and when I questioned this I was told, “We can’t tell everyone about price increases. It’s the same as price increases at the supermarket.” At the very least, I would expect a dentist to inform patients—by email or otherwise—when prices change, especially if they’d booked after being quoted a cheaper price. Most professional businesses send mass emails to customers notifying of price increases, so not an impossible feat. I’ve noticed several other 1-star reviews mentioning the same issues with the reception staff, and I’m unsure why this hasn’t been addressed. The clinical treatment itself was good, and had it not been for the lack of communication and the rude behaviour at reception, I would have been happy to continue my future appointments. Unfortunately, I’ll now be looking elsewhere.
