Needless to say, I, like most patients, have been very disappointed by the difficulty recruiting and maintaining dentists at the practice over the last few years. I am certain this has also been very frustrating for the dentists and other staff working there. However, the care I have received when I have been examined and treated has been excellent. I have had both an extraction and a filling (treated by Alex Figan) and have been astonished at how painless they were. On each occasion, Alex explained very clearly the issue and the recommended treatment plan, eased any anxiety and was at all times patient and respectful. I cannot fault his professional practice and would readily recommend him.

Signed up for private dental care today, after years of being with NHS under same Dental Practice. Unfortunately that’s the way things are going with private health care taking over from NHS. Never had any problems with appointments or the way I’ve been treated and I know this will continue. Thanks to Angela, on reception, for all her help and transition from NHS to private.

Arrived for my family appointment this afternoon only to find the premises was closed. No phone call or text to inform me. This is now the third appointment on the trot which they have cancelled without notifying me. I should be billing them for loss of earnings. My children haven’t seen a dentist for well over 3 years now as every ‘missed’ appointment results in another six month wait for the next one. Absolute shambles.
